WorkWell at CU Boulder is a supportive service for all CIRES employees, promoting a culture of whole-person wellness for the employees.

“WorkWell helps oversee a variety of health and wellness programs that are aimed at supporting staff and faculty and fostering a sense of belonging on campus. Our team is dedicated to building and sustaining an environment that supports the well-being of all staff and faculty.”

Suggested Campus Services

CIRES employees have reported using the following WorkWell services.

CU Move

This app tracks physical activity through your smartphone or fitbit (though not a Garmin watch). If you record 30 minutes or 10,000 steps per day for at least 12 days per month, you can earn $25 per month.

Faculty & Staff Assistance Program

The FSAP Program offers seven free counseling sessions per year. You can schedule these 1:1 online or in-person sessions during the workday as long as you are in Colorado.

Acupunture

Twice a month, you can join group acupunture sessions at the UMC at no cost. Spaces are limited, first come first served. There are also 1:1 sessions that you can pay for.

Massage

CU Medical Services partners with the Denver Integrative Massage School to offer massages at a reduced rate of $42/hr. All interns are under supervision of an on-site licensed massage therapist.

MoveWell

You can attend free all-level yoga classes at the CU Rec center on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30pm. Registration is required to attend.

Sunrise pass at the CU Boulder Rec Center

Sunrise memberships ($25/month) provide access to both CU Boulder Recreation Centers from 6am-12pm during the work week and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Spouses and family members are not eligible
