Events, News, Spotlights, Awards and Press Coverages all can display in various was on peoples profiles and different pages depending on their content type, and how they are set up.
Events & News on Landing Pages
Events and News feature a field called “Display On”, which specifically works to display on landing pages. Events have an autocomplete where you type in the page name, and news has check boxes.

Once the page is selected on the news or event, you will need to go to that page to add the reference block. While they can be added anywhere in the page in the paragraphs, we strongly recommend them being in tabs. The paragraph you are looking for will be ‘reference block’. From there you should give it a title, a description if desired and select the content to reference. The two pieces now are linked to display on these pages.

Spotlights, News, Awards, Press Coverage on Profile Pages
The way profiles are set up, none of this information is directly editable in the interface. Never at any point should profiles be edited or added to from the Drupal interface. For spotlights, awards, news, and press coverage to appear on a profile page, simply add their profile to the “Display on Person's Profile” field. The backend configuration will take care of the rest.
